Diagnosis Diagnosis  SWOT: What is it? SWOT

Applying a SWOT

Applying a SWOT diagnosis gives us important information on our organization both internally and externally. It is therefore important to involve all members of a team or teams.
All opinions are worth and are of significant importance to the proper functioning of a work team or organization. 

SWOT Diagnosis: Concepts involved

1. Internally, within an institution, group or organization:

• STRENGTHS: are all those material and human potential available to an organization. Are of vital importance for the functioning and development.

• WEAKNESSES: are all those human deficiencies or material available to an organization. Are mainly responsible for internal operations.

2. EXTERNAL level of an institution, group or organization:

• OPPORTUNITIES: are all those possibilities of development that has an organization. These opportunities are in the environment, natural, geographical, cultural, social, political and economic development in moving the institution.

Members must be able to look where they are and to reach out to these opportunities and to reflect within the team, whether or not they present a real opportunity for the organization.

• THREATS: they are all negative situations that threaten the development of an organization. These threats are in the natural, geographical, cultural, social, political and economic development in moving the organization.

The members must have the ability to look where they are and to think within the organization and the team if you have the necessary capacity to confront and work to turn them into opportunities or simply detect not to become a real threat to their goals is elusive. EXAMPLE

SWOT DIAGNOSIS APPLIED TO AN ORGANIZATION

I have always considered SWOT Diagnosis is much easier to apply to an organization, it allows us to be more objective, because we can see the organization from outside. An example of a SWOT diagnosis applied to an organization is as follows:

SWOT ANALYSIS APPLIED TO PUBLIC HEALTH ORGANIZATION
(SELECTION OF A DIAGNOSIS SWOT)

As you can see, the implementation of Diagnosis is simple SWOT and what care should be taken is the development of the elements that shape it, the better they are defined, you will have a better basis for further planning.
