VIEWS OBJECT

CONCEPT OF VIEW
One of the ways we can represent the objects in Technology is through its views .
But what is meant by sight of an object? How do you get? How many are there? What relationship exists between them?. To answer these questions, we will post an example.
Suppose we want to draw the views of the part of Figure 1. We imagine "floating" between three planes perpendicular to each other, like the corner of a box or room. The position of the piece is such that their faces are parallel or perpendicular to these planes. Then, for the main sights piece, we mentally orthogonal projection of the same on each of the planes, which for that reason are called projection planes .

Exercise Guide
1. in the following table indicates the numbers of the order for the parts taking into account the elevation view is obtained looking the part in the direction of the arrow

1. Cut out each figure, stick it in your notebook and draw the corresponding views explained according to the example

DELA EFFICIENT SOLAR ENERGY DISTRIBUTION OF AN OBJECT

In our life we \u200b\u200bcan make the most of energy solar, especially in those parts of the country where sunshine is abundant in the year in northern Iraq within our region.
With solar energy you can:
• Warm baths and heating water for cooking and baking

• Dry fruits and vegetables so fast and clean
• Distil to convert salt water into fresh water. Etc.

To develop devices that harness solar energy must take into account factors such as those mentioned below

1. Heat propagation

The heat can be transferred in three ways: by conduction, convection and radiation. Conduction is the transfer of heat through a solid object, is what makes the handle of a poker is hot but only the tip is on fire. Convection transfers heat through the exchange of hot and cold molecules, causes the water from a kettle to heat evenly if only the bottom is in contact with the flame.

Radiation Heat from the sun reaches the Earth after a long journey through empty space. The sun's heat does not spread or by conduction or convection. This form of propagation of heat energy that does not require material support
called radiation. This type of heat propagation also occurs in electric lamps. Driving

In solids the heat spreads by conduction. Conduction is the way for the heat to spread through solid objects. There are solids that are good conductors of heat, as metals, and others that lead to difficulty in heat, like wood or cork
. Therefore, the walls of the houses are covered with these materials, to ensure good thermal insulation. Convection

In liquids and gases heat spreads by convection. The hot molecules of a liquid or gas have a tendency to rise, while cold molecules tend to decrease. Thus, currents are formed, called convection,
help carry the heat to all parties.

2. Optical properties of materials

Light and the surface:
When light hits a surface, changes direction and quality of it, this may be, reflected, absorbed, distributed or a mixture of all three.

absorption: when light is incident on a dark surface (black) is completely absorbed. The dark elements convert light energy into heat. An example would be the dark at the time of manufacture or design clothes for winter to capture more heat through the sunlight.

reflection: when light is incident on a very clear and bright surface, such that occurs in a mirror. All the light is reflected in a direction almost unique, not in all directions as established by the law of Lambert. For specular reflection, the light comes and it bounces to reach the surface.

Transmission: Direct transmission when light enters a plastic or any body, without being scattered or diffused by the irregularities on the surface. Diffuse Transmission
is when a certain amount of light that is scattered or diffused by the irregularities of the surface. Some kind of materials like crystals scatter the light that penetrates hard, making it softer light.

3. Thermal properties of materials

Conductors or insulation materials. THERMAL PROPERTIES Determine the behavior of materials to heat. Thermal conductivity is the property of the material to transmit heat, leading, of course a feeling of cold to the touch. A material can be good or bad heat conductor.
Example: metals are thermal conductors, heat up quickly in the heat. However
insulating materials ie s bad drivers are useful for, prevent the escape or leave the cold between, eg, the witch pot is made with an insulating material that keeps heat inside the box. In some models of solar ovens are housed in a material isolating for processing ..
insulating materials known are the Styrofoam, glass wool, wood board,
also takes into account the gaps between surfaces, the air is the best insulator element, so the flasks are double air space is in between inside helps it last longer temperature of food.

solar solar maker

THE solar desalination is used to evaporate sea water, raise the moist air and condense the steam. It consists of a solar evaporator that captures solar energy to heat the salt water inside, evaporating and subsequent condensation, and entered into in fresh distilled water.

• solar dryer for fruits

The two basic elements of a solar dryer are: the collector, where the radiation heats the air and the drying chamber where the product is dried by passing air. These elements can be designed in various ways to integrate different solar drying equipment.

• Cooking solar oven

Solar ovens are appliances that can cook food using the sun as an energy source. They are divided into two families:
• In concentranción. They are based on solar radiation concentration in one point, typically through a parabolic reflector. At that point you place the pot that will cook food. Can generate high temperatures and frying or boiling water. They are particularly dangerous to the user if not careful and if you do not use the type of protection should be needed.

• Oven or box. The solar box oven or a box thermally insulated, designed to capture solar energy and keep warm inside. The materials generally have low thermal conductivity, which reduces the risk of burns to users and avoids the possibility of fire from both the kitchen and in the place where it is used. Besides food is not burned or spend maintaining their flavor and nutritional value.
